The Chancellor of the Exchequer delivered his Autumn Statement to Parliament on 5 December 2012.
Proposed Benefit Rates for 2013 have now been published. DWP’s ministers have decided that the reassessment of the majority of Disability Living Allowance claimants will take place over a longer time period. This is so the Department can learn from the early introduction of PIP and consider the findings of the first independent review of the PIP assessment, which will be published by the end of 2014.
The main reassessment period will now start in October 2015. The Appeals Process will change for all DWP benefits and child maintenance cases.

The early findings of the Direct Payment Projects are now available on line.
