The North East of England Branch covers an extensive area from The Wash to the north Northumberland/Scottish border with the line of the Pennines as the western boundary.  We are also lucky to be supported by members from west of the Pennines and elsewhere.  Due to the size of the area and the fragmented location of the committee members the AGM is held prior to the Annual Dinner which takes place in March at Wetherby, which is located roughly at the centre of the region, usually on the third Saturday of the month.  Please note the dates below, for your diary:

Remembrance Service (11th Nov 2018).

The Branch wreath will be laid at the Cenotaph in Beverley following a service in Beverley Minster.  If anyone from outside the area wishes to join the Branch Secretary, the parade forms up in School Lane (behind the Fire Station) in Beverley at 10.00hrs.

A wreath is also laid on the Royal Scots Greys Memorial Tablet at the Presbyterian Church, Priory Street in York, by Capt. NS Orr.

Anyone wishing to join in with either of these events should contact the Branch Secretary.

Branch Dinner 2019.
Our Branch dinner will be held in the Mecure Hotel, Wetherby on March 23 2019. The paperwork will be sent out by the end of January.
Anyone (other than NE England Branch Members) wishing to be placed on the mailing list should send their particulars to ( the Branch Secretary.
